Completing an application does not guarantee a position in the parade. You will be notified of your entry's acceptance.
Required: A complete description of the entry. Explain what your entry will look like in the parade. Provide theme, music, costumes, decorations, uniforms, etc. Description of the entry will be used for the application review process for the parade producers.
All parade applications must be received by November 22, 2023. If you need to pay by check, please call the DPOA office at 909-469-1121 for assistance.
I am participating in the 2023 Downtown Pomona Christmas Parade (referred to as the "Event") organized by The Downtown Pomona Owners Association. In consideration of my participation in the event and with a full understanding of the associated risks, I agree to indemnify, release, defend, and hold harmless the property owner hosting the event City of Pomona and The Downtown Pomona Owners Association, along with any affiliated employees, agents, officials, and officers, from any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, or liabilities of any nature arising from or related to my participation in the Event.
I also consent to the capture of videos and photographs of me for future promotional purposes by The Downtown Pomona Owners Association, and I acknowledge that I will not receive any compensation for such use. I am aware of the risk of exposure to or infection by COVID-19 in connection with my participation in this event, and I voluntarily assume this risk. Furthermore, I agree that in the event that any provision of this Liability Waiver and Release is deemed invalid or unenforceable by any court for any reason, the validity of the remaining parts, terms, or provisions shall remain fully effective and enforceable.
