The Christmas Parade Committee and the Downtown Pomona Owners Association invites you to be a part of the 2012 Pomona Christmas Parade.

This year’s Grand Marshal is Olympic gold medalist in skeet shooting, Kimberly “Kim” Rhode. Rhode, a Cal Poly Pomona alumna, is the first American in history to win medals in five consecutive Olympic Games in an individual sport. As the United States’ first Gold medal winner at the London Games this past summer, she matched the world record by hitting 99 out of the 100 clays.

The parade will once again take place in Downtown Pomona. It will travel west on historic 2nd street and end at Pomona’s City Hall where the Annual Holiday at the Plaza will be hosted in the afternoon.

The parade is scheduled to be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012, 10am-12pm.  Don’t forget to bring your chairs! Parking will be FREE from 5am-7pm for that date only. Click here for parking lot map

If you would like more information contact the DPOA office at 909-469-1121.

NOTE: Vendors are NOT allowed on the parade route or in staging area. For Holiday at the Plaza information, you must call the City of Pomona at 909-627-3449 or at 909-620-2321.
